Statement by the Manager
In the opinion of the directors of Parkway Trust Management Limited, the accompanying fnancial statements set out on
pages 71 to 130 comprising the statements of fnancial position, statements of total return, distribution statements, statements
of movements in Unitholders’ funds and portfolio statements of the Group and of the Trust, cash fow statement of the Group
and a summary of signifcant accounting policies and other explanatory notes, are drawn up so as to present fairly, in all
material respects, the fnancial position and the portfolio of Parkway Life Real Estate Investment Trust (the “Trust”) and its
subsidiaries (the “Group”) and of the Trust as at 31 December 2012, the total returns, distributable income, movements in
Unitholders’ funds of the Group and the Trust and cash fows of the Group for the year then ended in accordance with the
recommendations of Statement of Recommended Accounting Practice 7 “Reporting Framework for Unit Trusts” issued by the
Institute of Certifed Public Accountants of Singapore and the provisions of the Trust Deed. At the date of this statement, there
are reasonable grounds to believe that the Group and the Trust will be able to meet its fnancial obligations as and when they
materialise.
