On 28 February 2012, the Group executed an agreement to acquire strata titled units/lots within Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre,
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from a related party for a total consideration of MYR16 million (approximately $6.4 million). On 31 December
2012, the appraised value of the property was determined by DTZ Nawawi Tie Leung using direct income, cost and discounted cash
fow approaches.
The Manager of the Trust believes that the independent valuers have appropriate professional qualifcations and recent experience in the
location and category of the properties being valued. The net change in fair value of the properties has been taken to the Statement of Total
Return.
